I can think of no other reason to limit oneself to one single type of Pokemon. Besides, we are meant to gather all the badges, are we not? Each of the leaders can be considered just another step on the road to the final objective of this world.

And yet, this one seemed surprised when I bested him. And if what I hear is accurate, he is not the only one. The irony is staggering.

[The Rhyhorn roars in indignation, and Illidan smirks, clearly amused, and gives her another pat.]
